This Privacy Policy explains how Spacio handles information when you use the Android app. It is written to match the app’s current behavior. If that behavior changes, we will update this policy.
The app may store the following locally (for example in an on-device database and app preferences):

We do not upload photo/video content, file paths intended for our servers, OCR text, or hashes to Techsider Solutions servers. We do not operate such servers for this app today.
Deletion of your photos, videos, and files happens only after your confirmation (and, on newer Android versions, via the system delete confirmation where applicable).
Scheduled Cleanup is different: when you enable it, the app may automatically clear Spacio’s own app cache, temp files, and analysis cache on your chosen schedule. If you also opt in, it may empty recycle-bin items older than 30 days. It does not automatically delete gallery photos or videos.
If you use the free (non-Pro) experience, the app may show banner, interstitial, and optional rewarded ads. Google’s advertising and consent SDKs may process Advertising ID (AAID), device/ad interaction data, and consent choices in regions that require a certified CMP. See Google’s privacy policy. You can open Ad consent from Settings when required. Purchasing Pro removes ads in the app.
If you buy the Pro unlock (spacio_pro_lifetime), Google Play processes the purchase. We receive entitlement status through the Play Billing Library; payment details are handled by Google.
The app allows Android Auto Backup. If backup is enabled on your device and Google account, app data such as local databases and preferences may be included in your device’s backup according to Android/Google backup rules.
The app uses Firebase Analytics (aggregate usage events such as scan and feature usage) and Firebase Crashlytics (crash and stability diagnostics, including device model, OS version, and app version). These help us fix bugs and improve the app. We do not upload your photos, videos, file contents, hashes, or detailed local library indexes to analytics.

You can deny or revoke permissions in Android Settings. All Files Access is granted only through the system settings screen after an in-app rationale; we use it for on-device indexing and user-initiated deletion—not for upload.
The app is a general utility with advertising. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children for our own services. Do not use the app if you are under 13. The Play listing targets adults 18+.
Local index and history remain on the device until you clear them in Settings, clear app storage, or uninstall. Optional keep-original video backups you create stay in the folder you chose until you delete them. Ad and purchase data retention follows Google’s policies. Analytics/crash data follows Firebase retention settings. We do not maintain a separate cloud copy of your media library.
Google (AdMob, Play, Firebase) may process data in countries where Google operates. Techsider Solutions does not run a separate media-processing cloud for this app.
Because there are no accounts, there is no separate “delete my account” web form.
We may update this policy when the app’s data practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy, where permitted by law.
