These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Hugot Ni Juan Android application. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and is incorporated by reference.
Hugot Ni Juan is a quote browsing and card studio app. It lets you browse Filipino/Taglish hugot lines, save quotes on device, submit community quotes for moderation, and design shareable quote cards. Core browsing works offline with bundled and cached content.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, solely for lawful personal use via Google Play (or other channels we authorize).
You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, or misuse the app except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
Some Quote Studio background presets are photographs from Unsplash used under the Unsplash License; others are original textures we created. A full preset inventory ships in the app package at assets/legal/studio-photo-credits.txt. We do not claim ownership of Unsplash photographs.
Custom photos you pick for card backgrounds stay on your device for rendering and are not uploaded by the app. When you export or share a card, you are responsible for what you share and for any rights in the imagery or text you include.
The free tier may show advertisements (including rewarded ads you choose to watch for optional unlocks). Hugot Pro is a one-time Google Play in-app purchase that removes ads and unlocks Pro studio benefits described in the app. Purchases are handled by Google Play; restore them from the paywall or Settings after reinstall. Ads and purchases are optional for core quote browsing.
You agree not to use the app for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purposes; spam submissions; or to abuse our servers or other users.
The app, branding, and related materials are owned by Techsider Solutions or its licensors. Community quotes remain subject to moderation and these Terms when published in the catalog.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT CONTENT IS COMPLETE OR ERROR-FREE OR THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR BUG-FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TECHSIDER SOLUTIONS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED USD $10, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
We may update these Terms or the app’s features. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where allowed by law. You may stop using the app by uninstalling.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply.
