These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the CLEReady Android application. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and is incorporated by reference.
CLEReady is a study and practice app for the Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE). It provides practice questions, mock exams, progress tracking, spaced repetition, and optional gamification and leaderboards. Its practice questions are study materials, not official PRC examination questions, and using them does not guarantee a passing score. Some items may be drafted with AI assistance; each published item is written to have one verified correct answer. Study and practice features are designed to run locally on your device.
The app is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), the Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology, any government body, or any official examination. Exam names are used only to describe the subject matter.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, solely for lawful personal study via Google Play (or other channels we authorize).
You may not reverse engineer, copy, redistribute, resell, or extract the question content, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law. The question bank and explanations are protected content.
The free version may include advertising (banners, interstitials, and optional rewarded ads) and feature limits.
Pro is offered as an in-app product (for example a one-time pro_lifetime unlock) via Google Play Billing and may remove ads and unlock additional convenience or analytics features as described in the app. Benefits and pricing are shown in the Play purchase flow and may change over time for new purchases.
Purchases, taxes, and refunds are governed by Google Play’s terms and refund policies. We do not process card payments directly.
The leaderboard is optional and opt-in and is served by our own backend — it does not use Google Play Games Services and requires no account or sign-in. Your display handle is randomly generated by the app (you cannot type your own), so there is no name to police; you may shuffle to a new random handle at any time. By participating you agree not to manipulate, spoof, automate, or otherwise cheat submitted scores.
Purchases and rewarded ads may grant convenience or cosmetic perks but never change your ranked score — there is no pay-to-win. Client-submitted scores are treated as untrusted, rate-limited, and stored monotonically; we may remove entries that violate fair play. You can leave the leaderboard at any time to stop submitting your score.
Ads are provided by Google AdMob (and related Google services); purchases use Google Play Billing; usage and crash diagnostics use Firebase. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. Consent forms may appear where required by law. The opt-in leaderboard, question reports, and content updates use our own backend over HTTPS. You agree that ad, billing, leaderboard, and analytics functionality depends on the availability and policies of these services.

The app, question content, branding, and related materials are owned by Techsider Solutions or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. Third-party names and trademarks mentioned for descriptive purposes remain the property of their owners.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT CONTENT IS COMPLETE OR ERROR-FREE, THAT SCORES OR PROGRESS ARE ACCURATE, OR THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR BUG-FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TECHSIDER SOLUTIONS AND ITS SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR OPPORTUNITY (INCLUDING EXAM OUTCOMES), ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP—EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR PRO ACCESS IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $10. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.
You agree to defend and hold harmless Techsider Solutions from claims arising out of your misuse of the app or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
We may update these Terms or the app’s features. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, in-app or store notices. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where allowed by law. We may suspend or stop offering the app; you may stop using it at any time by uninstalling.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply.
