Law Enforcement Administration (LEA) items often test whether you understand how organizations and processes are supposed to work under constraints. Memorizing isolated acronyms without role clarity produces fragile scores.

Three LEA buckets
- Structure: units, roles, relationships as framed in your materials
- Process: planning, directing, reporting, accountability themes
- Situational judgment: best next administrative action in a stem
Study each bucket weekly in rotation.

Situational judgment method
Paraphrase the stem’s goal in one line before options. Cross out options that solve a different problem than the one asked. Many LEA distractors are “good policing” ideas that ignore the administrative task.
Notes that stay small
One page per major theme beats a novel. Add miss cues as bullet annotations. Reread the page before mixed sets.
Weekly LEA slice
- Theme page review
- Untimed LEA set
- Mixed mock including LEA later in week
- Tag misses into structure vs process vs judgment

FAQ
LEA feels opinion-based. Is it?
Good stems still hinge on taught principles. If your materials disagree with an explanation, report the item and verify with instructors.
