An AI assistant can help you turn a topic into a short quiz or explain a difficult concept in simpler language. It can also be confidently wrong. Use it to structure practice, then verify important facts against official materials and do the actual reasoning yourself.
A four-step session
- Pick one objective. Use the current PRC LET Table of Specifications for your track, or a current official CLE syllabus or notice where available. Keep the session narrow enough to review carefully.
- Ask for a small practice set. Request a few original questions with answer choices, an answer key, and explanations. Ask the tool to cite the source passage for factual or legal claims.
- Answer before revealing the key. Write down why you chose an answer. That makes it easier to spot a real misconception instead of just recognizing an explanation after the fact.
- Audit and correct. Open the cited official source, check the key and explanation, and note anything that was unsupported or outdated. If you cannot verify it, do not memorize it as fact.
Keep the learner in control
Use AI for alternate explanations, flashcard drafts, or a second set of examples. Do not paste personal records or sensitive information into a tool without understanding its privacy terms. If a topic involves current law, regulations, or examination logistics, prefer the issuing authority’s latest publication over a model’s memory.
For LET, the PRC Board for Professional Teachers page links board materials and resolutions, including the current TOS. For CLE, start with official PRC and government sources that apply to the subject you are studying. This routine is a study suggestion, not an official review plan or exam prediction. AI-assisted questions should be clearly identified as practice content, not official items.
